Code of Conduct
Our time on the ground is planned strategically, with consideration of current
and pre-searched areas covered by volunteer teams.
We cannot guarantee any outcome.
Borders and Boundaries
We will always get permission to cross a border or boundary during our search efforts. Unfortunately, we cannot access any areas if we can't get permission.
We always carry our passports should we need to cross into Lesotho on top of the escarpment.
Confidentiality and Social Media
We are sworn to a Code-of-Silence regarding missing persons, including all private information that we obtain. Information will only be shared with the organizations that need to know.
We use social media platforms to promote our service, but we do not use images of missing persons. We are not liable for postings by other organizations.
Legal
We always maintain a professional relationship with SAPS Search & Rescue, Emergency Medical Rescue Services, Ezemvelo Wildlife Staff, and the MCSA MSAR.
We will coordinate with these organizations, should we locate the missing person or human remains.
Protection
We will need information from you regarding your relationship to the situation and the reasons for your required financial input for the extended search.
We want to ensure that it is feasible for you to devote more resources to this, that you have additional information for us to initiate a search plan, that we are not unduly interfering with an active police investigation, and that participating in this search is both ethical and legal.
Contact us if you have any questions
